Want to get that sexy look that Angelina Jolie has been seen rocking with a fierce thigh high slit?  Now you can and you can do it yourself and making it is so easy you will wonder why you haven’t thought of it before!  Just follow these simple steps to make a maxi skirt a little less Little House on the Prairie: 

Step 1: Get a maxi skirt that you want to use. I used the Brandy Melville Lili maxi skirt ($24 on Brandymelville.com).  You will also need a pair of scissors.

Step 2: Figure out how high you want to make your slit in the skirt (depending on how scandalous you want to go) but I measured down 11 inches.  Use a safety pin to show where to stop cutting.

Step 3: Cut a straight line up to the safety pin.

Step 4: Voila! It really is that simple!  You can pair your Angelina-esque skirt with a denim shirt tucked in for day or a crop top for night.
